Alright, the portion of the summer where I (F) am in Toronto is over but we thought it would be a good idea to kind of just map out the future a bit in terms of things we want to do in the next year or so and also next summer.

Goals throughout the year:

We also want to do something cool next summer, maybe living in Montreal? Trying to get a job at the same bar or something would be pretty awesome. I think we almost achieved the perfect summer this year and the couple gaps that did exist became very well clarified, a gap in some social areas, in having a fun way to earn money (both worked pretty irritating and low paying jobs), and not enough creative building. The things we excelled at was social risk, some level of constant habit building and learning how to create consistent enjoyable experience. Going in to the next summer we probably just have to create more of a plan, which should be helped by our sunday reset habit, this means likely trying to secure a more comfortable living situation and a job we enjoy long before we arrive.

The longer term vision is trying to do a year or semester abroad in Copenhagen (fuck that would be so sick). It will take a bit of planning though for both of us. Mostly just trying to make sure that we can actually get all of our degree requirements.

I feel like this summer was super sick, but we both agree that in the future we would want to get more progress on starting some type of business or personal projects. I think we have both had enough experience of working not great jobs that the most important thing we could do for our futures is likely building something we are actually passionate about whether this be something online or in the real world. Much of how we build out the next year and into the next summer and following years should be geared towards this.

The most important way to achieve this is just make a habit out of building and creating. This means keeping artistic habits but also figuring out how to bridge the gap to any level of monetization.
